Q: I'm looking for boats and there seems to be loads coming off charter in the Med around Greece / Croatia / Italy often tax free as they've been held inside a company. (Yes I know you have to pay tax somewhere - but it means you won't be paying it twice). Have you considered setting up base there for a few months waiting for the right deal as then you're only an hours flight away max. I'm sure you'll get a lot of patrons / viewers will ing to take you out on sails too! OR is there something fundamentally wrong with ex charter boats (other than obviously more engine hours and wear and tear).

Since there is not much space on a sailboat I wonder if you could but a thin flexible or standard panel under the existing panel? Bifacial down side is they are bigger so per SQ FT they are not much advantage. Im sure the sun reflect off the water and any free power would be a bonus. Wonder if anyone has tried this or tested the idea?

You made so many good points in your videos, that I have a much clearer picture now of what I want. Most, if not all, of what you talk in your videos is exactly what I too think about it. Young fella forced to start fresh after a giant mess in my home state im debating going to work offshore drilling saving up for a live aboard sailboat then just doing whatever it takes to make it work I think I’m with you towards the catamaran simply because buying a home is out of the question for me at this point in my life

monohulls are dropping like a rock but even that doesn't matter because keeping them on the hard or in a wet slip at any east coast marina Is so so so so expensive A cateraman in a marina is 1k even in a public marina

The money is indeed doing well! Cheers, O'Kelly's! We're finally on a little catamaran (38' Ocean Twins, 1 of 3 produced from Pat Patterson, who also designed the Heavenly Twins). By no means is it a performance cat, but it seems to be a great place to call home and cruise around. The market is doing a fantastic job of paying for a few little needed upgrades, but the boat market? Yeah, you guys nailed it. We were set on over 40' until I stumbled on this reasonably priced little gem. Anything over 40' is 2-3x the price, without the build quality to back up such price points. Good luck, on your continued search! I'll be happy to buy you guys a beverage or brew up a good cup of coffee if ever we cross paths. Thanks for the content.

I have waited 5 months for a house electrician. As for marine and auto electrical. They are more expensive than plastic surgeons. So you decide to do the work yourself. Just remember. Your insurance company is looking for any excuse not to pay a claim when the boat burns.
